Couplio ("we", "app") is a private relationship journal app for couples. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

1. Data We Collect

• Account: Email address and display name (when you register with email, or name from Apple ID when using Sign in with Apple)
• Pair content: Events, important dates, map locations, notes, and photos you add to the app
• Technical: Crash reports and basic performance data

2. How We Store Your Data

All data is stored securely in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore and Firebase Storage), protected by authentication and security rules. Only you and your connected partner can access your shared data. We do not sell your data to third parties.

3. Subscription & Payments

Premium subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple App Store. We never receive or store your payment information. Subscription management is available in your Apple ID settings.

4. Third-Party Services

• Google Firebase — data storage and authentication
• Apple — Sign in with Apple, App Store payments

5. Data Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Profile → Delete Account in the app. All data, including photos, will be permanently and irreversibly deleted.

6. Children's Privacy

Couplio is not intended for users under 12 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
